Our organization regularly reviews requests for funding to support individuals and families in our community throughout the year.  As part of community outreach we hope to provide donations to families facing difficult situations, with a particular eye to where a small donation could help ease the burden. Examples of past donations are gas gift cards for families having to travel frequently to doctor appointments, shopping gift cards for families who have lost belongings to fire, grocery cards to families struggling to make ends meet one month.  

 

Community outreach funding requests are reviewed monthly. They can be awarded to individuals or families, but must cohere with the mission of HWSL to support local women and children. We do not donate cash. These donations typically range from $25-$500 and will be sent directly to the beneficiaries.
